The role will include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Plan and design mobile access transport solutions across fibre and microwave networks.
Prepare transmission designs for access aggregators and cell site routers, including platforms such as Cisco NCS540, ASR903, Nokia 7250 IXRe, Huawei CX600, and ATN910s.
Work with legacy technologies such as SDH where required.
Utilise industry-standard tools including Helix, MapPlanner, and Athena for network planning and documentation.
Liaise with cross-functional teams to validate designs and ensure alignment with mobile service rollout requirements.
Manipulate and analyse large datasets using Excel or similar tools to support planning activities.
