As a Fibre Designer at Dipole Group, you will play a crucial role in our Client Projects department based in Sydney. This Contract position in the Information Technology category offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for designing and implementing fibre network solutions.

q**Key Responsibilities:**

• Supporting the planning and network design of the various program Dark Fibre service orders
• Fibre Network Design support to FES Special Projects
• Provide support to Project Managers and Engineers nationally ensuring network design compliance and Document control
• Responsible for planning the expansion of TPG’s Heterogeneous Access Network (HAN) having devices located in TPG POP sites, Telstra Exchanges and Data Centers (Next DC, Equinix, Fujitsu)
• Planning installation of new lead-in cables, internal tie cables, telecom racks and FTPs (Fibre Termination Points) in coordination with Field Operations and GIS personnel.
• Planning cable capacity upgrades for Fibre network segments within HAN boundaries/areas.
• Creating Telstra Duct Study Requests for duct lease/allocation.
• Creating install plans for BAU (Internet) customers using AutoCAD, Google Earth and MapInfo.
• Documentation - preparing manuals for commonly used products in TPG (optical Fibre joints, Fibre cables, FTPs).
